State House Investors Protection Unit head Edith Nakalema has engaged the Forbes Africa editorial team ahead of its Uganda 2026 Report, outlining efforts to strengthen investor protection, curb fraud, and position Uganda as a competitive destination amid its emerging oil economy.

The Head of the State House Investors Protection Unit, Colonel Edith Nakalema, on Thursday held a high-level engagement with Camila Zambrano, Savannah Tombazzi, and Ilaria dal Toso from Forbes Africa ahead of the upcoming Uganda 2026 Report.

The meeting focused on Uganda’s evolving investment landscape and the country’s efforts to position itself as a secure and competitive destination for both local and international investors.

Discussions highlighted the role of the State House Investors Protection Unit in safeguarding investor interests and advancing transparency, accountability, and inclusive economic growth, particularly as Uganda approaches its first oil milestone.
